The Cesca Chair from Knoll was designed in 1928 by Marcel Breuer and has become a design classic. The chair has an elongated shape where its materials create flexibility and comfort, with its sturdy tubular steel base and rattan seat. The frame is available in either light or black beech and the chair is also available in an armrest version.
Marcel Breuer used traditional craftsmanship techniques combined with industrial methods and materials to make the chair an international sensation and a modern institution. As a testament to his innovation, the chair is now one of the most copied pieces of furniture of the 20th century.
